Meet Your Panelists

Aishwarya Aravind, Content Manager, LinkedIn

Aishwarya is a content manager at LinkedIn who oversees Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Help Desk topics for LinkedIn Learning; she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2018 with a degree in public health and minor in political economy. Since joining LinkedIn, Aishwarya has prioritized amplifying the voices of female and nonbinary instructors around the world who are in various stages of their careers to better reflect the global audience of learners.

Kristen Frantz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Berrett-Koehler

Kristen Frantz is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Berrett-Koehler Publishers (www.bkconnection.com). She is passionate about helping authors share their ideas in the world to promote individual, organizational, and societal positive change. She spends her time working directly with authors on their marketing campaigns, managing Berrett-Koehler’s distribution relationship with Penguin Random House Publisher Services, and overseeing many of the aspects of sales and marketing of books. She has had the privilege of working at Berrett-Koehler Publishers for most of her career. The Berrett-Koehler community is dedicated to “Connecting People and Ideas to Create a World that Works for All.”

Renée Sedliar, Editorial Director, Hachette Books/Hachette Go.

Renée primarily acquires practical, prescriptive nonfiction from a range of authors--vegan superstars to go-to health leaders and everyone in between. Renée has held editorial positions at Da Capo Lifelong Books, Seal Press, Marlowe & Company, and HarperCollins.

Chithra Vendantam, Field Sales Coordinator, Ingram

Chithra Vedantam is a field sales coordinator at Ingram Content Group. After graduating in 2021 from Indiana University with BA’s in French and Linguistics she moved to Berkeley California to begin her career in publishing. She is passionate about championing diversity in the publishing industry and believes everyone deserves to see themselves in books. Outside of work she loves knitting, drawing, singing, and of course reading books.
